Antoine is responsible for the intellectual property and information technology practice at gadens melbourne. He has a depth of legal experience in the areas of intellectual property, information technology, commercial contracting, corporate advisory, and trade practices. He has a background of over 20 years experience in the law including a two-year period as an in-house legal adviser with ANZ Banking Group, a period as a senior lawyer with the Ansett / Air New Zealand Airline Group, and a variety of positions with some of Australia’s largest law firms.
Antoine has significant strengths in information technology contracting, intellectual property protection, commercialisation and prosecution, commercial dispute resolution, insolvency, and commercial law including contract negotiation and drafting in a broad range of areas. He has presented papers at a number of conferences and seminars, and conducted Continuing Legal Education sessions both in-house and for clients.

- In-house Counsel for the Ansett / Air New Zealand Airline Group – responsible for the maintenance of the Group’s Intellectual Property portfolio;
- in-house lawyer at ANZ Banking Group – provided advice and assistance in relation to intellectual property issues and worked within the Bank’s e-commerce business unit;
- acting for various software houses, consultancies, technology service providers and manufacturers of telecommunications and technology including preparing their suites of standard contracts and negotiating agreements with major customers; and
- acting for a major utility company, advising on contracts relating to the roll out of smart power meters.
